About the Fabric
Kota Doria is a lightweight, airy fabric known for its distinctive square weave pattern (called khat). Traditionally handwoven on pit looms in Kaithoon near Kota, Rajasthan, this fabric blends cotton and silk threads to create a soft, translucent texture. Its fine weave and minimal weight make it a timeless favorite for elegant ethnic wear.
