About the Fabric
Kota Doria is a light, airy woven fabric known for its signature square patterns (khat). It is traditionally handwoven on pit looms in Kaithoon near Kota, Rajasthan, and nearby villages. This heritage weave, often crafted from pure cotton and silk threads, is admired for its delicate texture, fine weave, and barely-there weight — perfect for graceful ethnic wear.
